Great and unbeatable setting, near there are regular busses, southern France and the restaurant. Also, outside of the city centre.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to public transport going into city center, the riverside of the delightful river Arc and the taxi stop in the town. The room I stayed in was well-appointed and complete with king bed, the bedroom, for example.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Escale Oceania in Aix-en Provence. It was a little further from the city center (20 minute walk) but it was a great hotel. Modern, comfortable rooms and very pleasant, accomodating staff. Breakfast was good and the pool was nice as well. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and will look for other Oceania hotels in other cities.
It was a little further from the city center than ideal, but we were very pleased with the hotel.

Once we found the hotel ( rather difficult as Booked.net has the wrong coordinates) all was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good and close to the centre of town. We were not bothered by highway noise) Not the Ritz but more that adequate,
Getting there especially without gps co-ordinate and map Quest could not call up the address.

The hotel has been recently renovated and everything in the room was modern and new. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of free parking and free WIFI. The staff was friendly and very helpful with information about the area. All spoke English - which was very useful for people like us who can't speak French. All in all it was great value for the money. Nice breakfast. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner but it looked like a nice place. The hotel is a short drive from town center and for us the location was ideal as we were going to drive to town. It was also easy to find once we got off the highway.

the hotel is easily accessible and gives you standard accommodation, very similar to business hotels. we stayed 5 nights and we didn't feel uncomfortable. rooms are clean and friendly stuff, they speak English. if you don't sleep well I would recommend to book a room on the other side from the highway but I must say when we were at the restaurant, on the terrace, we heard cars just a bit. they have a swimming pool, big enough.
I personally didn't like the kitchen and the variety of meals they have. this could improve. so if you would like to have a nice french dinner, its not going to be the one in the hotel but sufficient for the first night of arrival.

The hotel was really well fitted out without being 'over the top'. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the swimming pool and gym were excellent.
